For nearly two decades Paul Mayo has focused his career in the specialty insurance industry.  “Specialty” in his case refers to a short list of unique insurance products that require specific expertise and established carrier relationships within the insurance marketplace.  Paul has covered all the bases from being an underwriter, consultant, manager, multi-million dollar producer for industry leaders AON Corporation, K&K Insurance Group and Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company, to owning 2 specialty insurance agencies.

Paul’s primary desire with Specialty Insurance Solutions, Inc. is to help entities insure the unusual.  Over the years Paul has capitalized on his relationships with carriers and clients to develop new and innovative insurance products that are not readily available in the standard marketplace.  Those products in concert with Paul’s expertise make for a distinctive combination only available to those clients with a niche insurance need.

Prior to founding Specialty Insurance Solutions, Inc. Paul was co-owner of Summit America Insurance Services, LC in Overland Park, KS.  He still maintains strong relations with Summit America and currently acts as an underwriting and production consultant for that office. 

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from the University of Utah, Paul married his high school sweetheart. Now, some 20 years later, they are sharing the joys of their two children.  In fact, many of you will notice that the acronym for Specialty Insurance Solutions, Inc. is SISI.  While it was not Paul’s intention for you to associate the company name with SISI for obvious reasons, the acronym does have some personal meaning.  Sissy is what Paul calls his young daughter.  During one of his bedtime conversations with her she suggested that he name his new company after her and there you have it.
